Tis the season for New Collections

The Bridal industry is all of a tizz about the new designer collections about to be launched in the next couple of the weeks in London at the White Gallery and Bridal Fashion Week in London. These are trade events only, which gives Boho Bride the opportunity to see what’s new and cool in the bridal industry. Top British designers gather to showcase their new collection in catwalk shows and private viewings so you can be sure I have booked my places to view our existing designers collections and a couple of new ones too….exciting stuff.

Our own designers have given Boho Bride a sneaky peak at their new collections and what has inspired them. This is what Emma Hunt has to say about her 2016 collections.

For the 2016 collection, Emma was inspired by the romance of Czech artist Alphonse Much’s Art Nouveau illustrations along with the ethereal prettiness of a Midsummer Night’s Dream, while references to the 1930s jazz club decadence of the film, The Cotton Club, nod to a faded age of glamour.

Delicately flowing frocks are for those who favour a soft femininity, with demure scooped backs and gently cascading frills the perfect understated highlights. Lightly sculpted silhouettes in silk satin and chiffon feature the prettiest antique-style lace overlays, while a few slinkier shapes with minimal detailing are simplicity at its best.

Sleeves come in graceful fluted shapes and longer sheer styles, making shoulders and wrists a becoming way to show a little skin. Strapless and shoestring strap styles also return to be combined with a selection of lace and tulle jackets so brides can find a truly individual look.
